Beco Butterfly II, The Carrier:
The Beco Butterfly II is a soft structured, or buckle carrier. They can be used for front or back carrying. The weight limits are 7 lbs to 45 lbs. Since you wear this carrier on two shoulders, 45 lbs can be very doable in a back carry, as long as your body can feel comfortable with that weight. The measurements on the Butterfly II are:
- body 13″ wide x 16″ tall
- shoulder straps 23″ (can be adjusted up to 22″ LONGER for a total of 45″)
- waist belt 28″(size 0) can be adjusted up to 57″
The headrest/sleeping hood can be removed and stored in the pocket in the waist belt. This carrier comes with an infant insert to make the body of the carrier fit smaller babies better. There is an inside panel to help keep baby secure and this make back carries really easy. Taking the guesswork out of how to get your baby on your back.
